My next game review:

Rook by Parker Brothers – Ages 8 & up

This game was one of the ones all the neighborhood kids would just love to play when I was growing up, including my hubby.  We preferred playing with 4 people (2 teams/partners), although you can play with 2 or 6.  To win Rook you have to be the first team to reach 300 points by bidding, naming & capturing tricks.  The Rook card (wild) holds great power though and it can turn things around in the game.  We found the game really addicting & exciting (it’s awesome when you hold the power of the bird!).

  • Trick or Trump your way to winning…but beware of the Rook
  • Includes 57 cards and instructions
  • Ages 8 years and up
